Designing Debut

I have been digital scrapbooking for a long time, and have never had the guts to try designing a kit before. However, my daughter, Emily, has been learning photoshop and has been wanting to design a kit for awhile now. We decided that since we both love all the kits from the LDS Blog Train that was a good place to start, so we each put together a little kit to share.

It was a lot of fun, and challenging, to come up with my own ideas for papers, and to then to get to play around with some of the tools in photoshop that I don't really know how to use. I have no desire to go into designing anytime soon, but who knows, you may see more kits from Emily sooner, rather than later.

Nancy's Kit (click on preview to download, I hope)

I'm not sure where you've come from to get here - but you can find another part of this kit at The Adkins Family Blog .

To catch the whole train go to LDS Blog Train.

Thanks for stopping for a minute.

I'm sorry but neither of your downloads work. I was senst to box.net, but to create my own small business account, not to download your lovely kits. I have no idea how to help you and I am not a designer.

I am being asked to set up an account to get to the kits. I'm sure it's a simple fix and maybe one of the other "cars" on the train can show you how to fix it.

Same thing here...your kits are lovely, just unable to download either. You may want to check you links. Thanks.

Sorry Ladies - Trying to complete something new after the exhaustion point late last night I forgot to log out of box to make sure it works. I am pretty sure that I have the links working now.

Congratulations on your first kits. I wouldn't even know where to start to make one. They both turned out great, downloaded easy, I appreciate you sharing them with us.
Take care,

CONGRATULATIONS on completing your first kits! I am in awe, I have no idea how to do this stuff! I love the kits, so cute and bright! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Reikkmmom,

These kits are great! congrats to you both on starting designing! :-)

This is in response to the comment you left on my blog , i wasn't sure how to contact you:

I'm so terribly sorry to hear of your loss. (((((HUGE HUGS))))) I will work on getting this link repaired over the next few days. I discontinued my 4shared account and unfortunately due to a hard drive crash in December 2008 I lost my copy of this kit, i do believe that one of my CT members has a copy of it (I've e-mailed her to request it) and since its an older kit i'll be updating it and posting it here soon. Much love and prayers! Sherah SKrapper Digitals
